    How to request removal of personal data associated with your Prostnow workspace, and what happens to content tied to connected social accounts.

    1. Why this page exists

    Prostnow is a multi-channel publishing workspace: you connect social and content accounts, compose posts, schedule them, and manage drafts and assets. Apps that access user data should provide a clear way to ask that personal data be deleted. This page explains how to make that request, what we typically delete or anonymize, and what we may need to retain under law or for legitimate security and billing purposes.

    2. What data Prostnow holds (summary)

    Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

    • Account data: email, name, user ID, and related authentication records from our identity provider.
    • Workspace and product data: drafts, captions, uploaded media, scheduled posts, publishing history generated through Prostnow, and workspace or team settings you configure.
    • Connection data: OAuth tokens and limited metadata for Connected Platforms you authorize (not your platform passwords).
    • Billing records: subscription status and transaction references processed by our payment partners.
    • Logs and security data: IP addresses, timestamps, and similar technical records used to operate and protect the Service.

    Content you have already published directly on third-party platforms may remain on those platforms until you delete it there; Prostnow cannot remove posts from another company's servers except through the permissions you grant our integrations.

    3. How to request deletion

    Email request (primary): Send an email from the address you use to sign in to Prostnow (or describe your account clearly if it uses a different contact). Use a subject line such as Data deletion request so we can route it quickly.

    Please include, where possible:

    • The email address associated with your Prostnow Account;
    • Your display name or workspace name, if applicable;
    • Whether you want full Account deletion or specific categories of data removed;
    • Any relevant jurisdiction (if you are exercising a statutory right).

    In-product controls: If your Account settings include options to delete your workspace or close your Account, you may use those tools in addition to—or instead of—emailing us. If you are unsure, email us—we will confirm the best path for your account type.

    4. Verification and timing

    To protect your privacy, we may take reasonable steps to verify that a request comes from you (or your authorized agent, where permitted by law). Once verified, we aim to complete deletion or anonymization within thirty (30) days, unless a longer period is necessary due to complexity or legal obligations—if so, we will explain the delay where we can.

    We will confirm receipt of your request when practical. If we cannot honor part of a request, we will explain why (for example, data we must retain for tax or fraud-prevention purposes).

    5. What we delete or anonymize

    When we honor a verified deletion request for your Account, we aim to delete or irreversibly anonymize personal data that is no longer needed for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy. That typically includes profile information, User Content stored in Prostnow for your Account, and active connection tokens for Connected Platforms, subject to technical propagation delays in our systems and backups.

    Backup copies may persist for a limited period in encrypted backups and are overwritten on rotation; we do not use deleted personal data for new processing.

    6. What we may retain

    We may retain certain information where the law requires or permits, for example:

    • Billing and accounting records, invoices, and payment dispute evidence;
    • Security, abuse-prevention, or audit logs necessary to demonstrate compliance or defend legal claims;
    • Information we must keep to meet regulatory, tax, or law-enforcement obligations;
    • Aggregated or de-identified data that does not reasonably identify you.

    Where retention is required, we limit access and retention duration to what is necessary.

    7. Effect on your subscription

    Deleting your Account or data may end your access to paid features. If you have an active subscription, you may need to cancel through billing settings or your payment provider's customer portal to avoid further charges, depending on how your plan is managed.
